Matcha Marble Cake

Ingredients

250g of butter - softened

160g of caster sugar

1 tsp vanilla

5 eggs

230g plain flour

50g of milk

1tbsp matcha powder

1tbsp hot water

Direction

*Preheat your oven to 170 degrees.

* Add hot water into matcha powder mix well and set aside.

*Insert blade and whisk into bowl.

*Butter caster sugar (30sec) (speed 2)

1. Scrape down the sides (1min) (speed 4)

2. Add eggs gradually from the top opening lid (1min) (speed 4)

3. Add flour, baking powder and milk from the top opening lid (1min) (speed 2)

4. Scrape down the sides (30 secs) (speed 4)

5. Pour 1/3 mixture to a seperate bowl, mix in the matcha mixture till well combined with spatula

6. Place the original better and the matcha batter alternatively into lined cake tin. Use a skewer or fork to swirl it around the mixture to make marble effect. Tap the tin gently to remove any air bubbles

7. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degree for 40 mins or until the skewer inserted comes out clean.
