Blender Wars

Blender Wars

We had our first ever event at Kitchen 360 and it was all about blenders!

Blenders, blenders, everywhere. But what do we really know about this common yet very broad category of blenders?

Well, that was why we decided that blenders would be a good introduction to the many equipment we have at out showroom. Blenders can range from being fairly simple in operation and function, to being a machine capable of more than just blending.

The event was perticipated by six of the biggest blender brands, namely Blendtec, Vitamix, Robot Coupe, Hamilton Beach, Santos and Kenwood.

We had representatives from the top brands to demonstrate the usage of the blenders. Chef David Wong of Say Cheese Cafe was also present to share with the guests about his experience of using blenders in his line of work.

As a chef, he is no stranger to the various applications of blenders, which is not limited to making pastes, ice blended drinks and smoothies. His talk, titled "Blending Culinary Creations in a Restaurant" was just as engaging as his larger-than-life presence.

The brand representatives showcased the usage of blenders in the making of dips, butters, soups, rice, purees batters and so on. Whether it was Vitamix's The Quiet One or Kenwood's Power Blender, all the blenders were each highly capable machines in their own right and are made to cater to the specifc needs of the user.

There were also event-exclusive promotions where guests were entitled to purchase certain models at a special discount.

To cap it all off, we had an awards presentation ceremony where guests were required to vote for the Best Presenter, Best Recipe and Most Popular Award.

'Twas fun and exciting indeed.
